$56,000 Up For Grabs In Arkansas

Arkansas has 2 fantastic Stage Races coming up in 2 weeks. Joe Martin (NRC) and the first ever Tour of Arkansas. Between them, there will be a total CASH PURSE of $56,000 with racing for all categories. The events will be run on back-to-back weekends - Joe Martin (May 8,9,10,11) and Tour of Arkansas a few days later (May 15,16,17,18). Racing for Non-Pro Cat 1/2 riders will be Sat & Sun of both weekends. The USCF events will have 3 stages over 2 days and the Pros will have 4 stages over 4 days.

How often do you get a chance to see and meet the professional riders that you see every day on velonews and cyclingnews ? It's a fantastic opportunity indeed. Last year, we had Frankie Andreu make an appearance. This year, Steve Bauer is bringing his team of 10 riders !!! And, there will be a bunch of domestic professionals too numerous to mention... The Tour of Arkansas has 2 teams from CANADA and another from COLUMBIA confirmed to attend !!

We would love to see all you riders in Arkansas come out and support your home state events on one or both weekends !!! We always try to put on the best quality events that we can. With the price of gas the way it is, we are trying to put on events that will be worth the trip.

For all you Pro Cat 1/2 riders... we have host housing and complimentary hotels available for the Tour of Arkansas. And, if there are enough riders from individual non-pro teams, we may be able to find you some free hotel rooms too. Just contact us and let us know how many riders you plan on bringing up to the event. We will try our best to find you a room and help offset the expense of racing these days.

Thanks for reading... and we look forward to seeing a good representation from Arkansas this year.

You won't regret making the trip !!!
